Blind Embossing – Debossing

Embossing is an ink free process in which a design or text is pushed into the back of the paper using pressure. Designs can either be single level (a one-dimensional raised design) or multiple level (a three-dimensional design done with a brass die). In some instances, this process can also be done in register with ink or foil.
